I love this place! Very fancy! We had calamari for an appetizer, was not a fan of the octopus at all! The food was great! I just tried the calamari for the first time and i didn't like the texture of it in my mouth. Everything was so lovey!! The desert had a chocolate stencil on the plate, very elegant! They make their own stoli infused vodka! The crackers and bread starters we a very nice touch! Yummy as well!!

Jordan provided outstanding performance, if not, The Capital Grille may have received only two stars. The best serving was the appetizer. A nicely done sauce but the shrimp and the bread were both over cooked and difficult to cut even with a butter knife. The lobster bisque was average at best and lacked flavor. The medium rare steak was more rare than medium. The lobster lacked flavor. The cream spinach was so overly salted we sent it back. We were told that the chef agreed that it was over salted and asked if we wanted something else. We were puzzled that the chef didn’t taste it before it left the kitchen. They did have a nice stirring stick that was covered with sugar crystals that was very creative. The cream and strawberries were ok.At the expense we probably will look elsewhere on our next trip as we were disappointed with the cuisine. Once again, the service was fantastic but the culinary experience was lacking.

Excellent service even if you are walking in right before they close. We had a very personable waiter which made the experience that much better. The food was delicious just what we were looking for. Everything we order was great we had Oysters, steak (hubby’s), I had the chicken in the risotto (best risotto). Mashed Potatoes are a great compliment side to your Entree. Definitely come here before you go anywhere else in Indiana.
